Construction is complete at Queenstown Landing Assisted Living & Memory Care.

QUEENSTOWN — Chesapeake Contracting Group recently completed construction on the Queenstown Landing Assisted Living & Memory Care facility, located at 120 Shoreway Drive, adjacent to the University of Maryland Shore Regional Health Complex in Queen Anne’s County.

Designed by Moseley Architects, the state-of-the-art single story senior assisted living facility includes 41,307 SF of space with 51 residence units, multiple dining rooms, an indoor theater, library and living room with fire place, full-service salon and barber and large outdoor spaces. Construction took 13 months to complete and used slab on grade, wood framing.

“We are thrilled to be able to deliver this exceptional project to Queen Anne’s County and provide a much needed development that serves the senior population in a meaningful way,” Chesapeake Contracting Group Vice President Michael Wildey said. “We enjoy finding those special projects that truly serve a community and enhance the lives of those who live and work there.”

The Queenstown Landing complex includes 24/7 assisted living care with on-site personal care teams, help with making doctor’s appointments, physical, occupational and speech therapy services, weekly housekeeping and laundry services and private transportation for doctor appointments/personal needs. Also available at the facility is the LifeStories Memory Care program available for seniors who are living with memory impairments such as Alzheimer’s and other forms of dementia. Lastly, there is also a short-term respite stay program available for those who are recovering from surgery, want a trial stay to consider becoming a resident or families who require caregivers for a vacation or extended leave reasons.
