EASTON — Providing food and shelter was a key component when the Mid-Shore Board of REALTORS (MSBR) membership committee was deciding on 2021 charities. They wanted to help, not only for the residents of Caroline County but also for the animals.

“The fact that the Caroline County Humane Society will not turn away an animal is impressive,” said MSBR President Laura Anderson. “Like their slogan notes, their door and hearts are always open for all animals.”

The REALTORS at MSBR know that some families have had to give up their beloved pets due to financial situations. They hope the funds and supplies will help with their Caroline County Humane Society’s mission.

“We are able to treat our animals and bring them back to health because of donations like the one from Mid-Shore REALTORS,” said Leanne Gower, Shelter Director. “This contribution and supplies will make a difference in the lives of the approximately 1,500 abandoned, neglected, abused and homeless animals we care for each year.”
