FREDERICA, DEL. — Bayleigh Perdue had three goals and Ella Briggs finished with two goals and a pair of assists as the ShoreFC/SUSC Velocity Black 19U girls’ soccer team went 2-1 at last weekend’s Coastal Shootout.

Shore defeated Pittman Eclipse (New Jersey) 3-1 and Lanchester United (Pennsylvania) 3-0 before losing 1-0 in Sundays semifinals to Pittman Eclipse. Pearl Sutton added a goal, with McKenna Pritchett and Arlie Paden also providing assists. Alyssa Dabolish made 15 saves in goal throughout the weekend, posting one clean sheet.

Already playing in five showcase tournaments and winning its EDP League, ShoreFC’s record for the Fall 2020-Spring 2021 is 14-4-5 with two showcases remaining.

ShoreFC/SUSC is comprised of 19U girls from the Eastern Shore Region of Maryland and Delaware, drawing from 13 different high schools.
