FELTON, Del. — Bianca Baker and Brenna McLean won two individual races apiece and were part of two winning relays Tuesday as Queen Anne's County High's girls' swim team rolled to a 111-58 victory over Lake Forest, Delaware.
Baker, who has lost only once this season, won the 200-yard individual medley and 100 butterfly. McLean took first in the 100 freestyle and 100 breaststroke, as the Lions improved to 2-3 for the season.
Baker and McLean joined Megan Lee and Madison Lebkicker to win the 200 medley relay, then teamed with Haley Cole and Maddie Clagget to win the 200 freestyle relay. Lebkicker, Lee, Cole and Clagett closed the meet with a victory in the 400 free relay.
Queen Anne's won every event, with Lebkicker winning the 200 freestyle, Clagget taking first in the 400 free, and Cole winning the 100 backstroke. Freshman Caroline Kimball notched her first victory of the season with a win in the 50 freestyle sprint.
Queen Anne's boys lost to Lake Forest, despite the efforts of Jacob Gardner, who won the 100 fly and swam two strong relay legs, and Daniel Mora, who took first in the 100 back.
Queen Anne's girls look to even their record Jan. 31 at Cambridge-South Dorchester, while the boys will seek their first win of the season.Â
