EASTON — The Bryan Brothers “Building Dreams for Youth” Foundation Inc. is proud to announce the ACE Mentoring Program of Maryland’s Eastern Shore as a 2019 grant recipient. The grant is awarded in recognition of Willow Construction as the winner of the 2018-2019 Community Challenge for Kids.

Willow Construction and other local businesses took up the challenge and friendly competition to raise money over a one-year period on behalf of the Bryan Brothers Foundation. The Community Challenge for Kids, in its fourth year, has raised more than $150,000 for local area youth organizations. The competing businesses employ multiple fundraising methods and award a percentage of their fundraising effort to the children’s charity of their choosing.

“We have been a strong supporter of the ACE Program since it came to Easton in 2004. We cherish this partnership and are delighted that we are able to provide funding for their scholarship program,” said Andy Cheezum, vice president of Willow Construction and board member for the ACE Mentoring Program.

The ACE Mentoring Program of Maryland’s Eastern Shore is part of a national program to help students learn about career opportunities in architecture, construction, and engineering, while also providing mentoring and scholarships for those interested in pursuing these careers.

The Bryan Brothers “Building Dreams for Youth” Foundation’s mission is to help ensure that all children on the Mid-Shore have the opportunity to experience personal growth through participation in youth sports, recreation and development programs.

Since its inception in 2003, the Bryan Brothers Foundation has provided more than $1,200,000 in grants to support Shore Kids.

The Foundation provides donors with the opportunity to support a broad range of worthwhile youth programs with their contributions.
