CHURCH HILL — The Maryland Public Service Commission will hold a second public comment hearing on the application of Bluegrass Solar LLC to build an 80 MW solar generating facility in Queen Anne’s County at 6:30 p.m. Tuesday, June 18, at Church Hill Elementary School, 631 Main St. in Church Hill.

Members of the public who wish to comment on the proposal are welcome to attend the hearing before Chief Public Utility Law Judge Ryan C. McLean. The first public comment hearing in this case was held on May 1.

According to the application, the solar array will be constructed on 487 acres north of Church Hill, east of State Route 213 and north of State Route 300, in Queen Anne’s County. The application is available for public inspection or copying at the Queen Anne’s County Office of Planning and Zoning, 110 Vincit Street, Centreville.
