Kids Fishing Derby set for Aug. 3

The Mid-Shore Fishing Club will host a free Kids Fishing Derby from 9 a.m. to noon Saturday, Aug. 3, at Long Wharf Park in Cambridge. Children ages 5 to 12 are eligible to participate and must be accompanied by a guardian. Bait and rods will be provided, but children may bring their own rod, as well. A certificate of participation will be awarded, and prizes will be given to the largest rockfish, white perch, catfish, spot and croaker.

CAMBRIDGE — The Mid-Shore Fishing Club will host a free Kids Fishing Derby from 9 a.m. to noon Saturday, Aug. 3, at Long Wharf Park in Cambridge.

Children ages 5 to 12 are eligible to participate and must be accompanied by a guardian. Bait and rods will be provided, but children may bring their own rod, as well. Pizza and water will be provided for the children after the derby. Advance registration is required and must be completed by Wednesday, July 31.
